A brand-new Murcia Airport summer flight is starting this July
The presentation will take place this July 16 at Corvera airport
Private tour operator Soltour, who have already run a charter flight from the Region of Murcia International Airport to Albania this July and have another special trip coming up to Slovenia in September, have been confirmed to inaugurate the new direct flight starting for July and August between Murcia and the city of Porto in Portugal.
The Region of Murcia government and Soltour, in collaboration with the Regional Ministry of Tourism, will inaugurate the new flight – the final one starting up to complete the full summer flight roster – as part of the joint commitment to promote regional tourism.
The tourism forecast is that Murcia is due to receive 1.9 million visitors in official, regulated accommodation establishments during the summer months of July and August, a 6.5% increase on 2023.
A press conference attended by Carmen María Conesa, Regional Minister for Tourism of the Region of Murcia, and Teresa Arizti, CMO of Soltour will mark the arrival of the first passengers from Portugal on July 16 at 1.30pm at the Murcia Airport Tourist Information Point.
