Another new charter flight added to Corvera Airport roster this summer
There is yet another package holiday available to a European capital this summer

Even if major commercial airlines are not inclined to – or don’t see it as a profitable move to – add a significant number of new international flight destinations connecting with the Region of Murcia International Airport, there is one Murcia-based tour company that is determined to launch flights to otherwise hard-to-reach European destinations.
Soltour is a travel agent based in Murcia that is busy preparing all-inclusive travel packages for people in Murcia to fly to exotic cities in Europe that they may never have been to before, and they’ve just announced a new destination to come this summer.
Already this May, Soltour revealed they would be running an organised trip to Albania in July, and now they have added a new organised holiday to their expanding roster.
On September 2, towards the tail-end of the summer season, passengers will have the chance to fly to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.
The package holiday includes several days in Ljubljana, which is like something out of a fairytale with its colourful baroque buildings, cobbled streets and the iconic Ljubljana Castle, perched on a hill overlooking the city.
Holidaymakers will also have the chance to explore the Brda Hills, with its vineyards and fantastic views, as well as visit the Bohinj Lake and the island of Bled. There is active tourism in the form of a visit to the Postojna Cave and the opportunity to relax at the beach in the seaside resort of Portorož.
Luis Santos, Soltour's sales director for Spain and Portugal, said, “At Soltour we are committed to providing the best possible travel experiences and have therefore designed a package that focuses on the wonderful region of Slovenia. This short-haul destination is perfect for travellers looking for a close and unique getaway, an option that is becoming increasingly popular.
“We know how important it is to have direct flights when choosing a destination and that is why we have designed this package with direct regional flights, including Murcia, so that everyone can discover the hidden wonders of this country.”
