We are a growing badminton club offering competitive court time opportunities in the local community. The club's success at developing winning Spanish ranked players has been quick in coming since its initial start-up in 2001.The club is very interested in finding new talent both in the locality in which it is situated, and in the community. Currently it has more than 50 members. Totana Badminton Club has a varied mix of players, both in terms of levels and in terms of age.
These members are good players from beginners to nationally ranked. Younger start from the age of 7 years, although the main body of players is the approximate age of 19 years and also have a number of veteran players.
Badminton is not only played at competition level, also practiced for fun and fitness. Played at a high level is as competitive as any other sport. Badminton players are as fit but tennis players, football or any other sport. Badminton is a sport with which speed, stamina, agility, strength and turn touches delicate skills and demonstrated. It is also a game of strategy, tactics and mental fitness. This game is also equally known that physical chess.
