More mosquito spraying to come on Mar Menor Golf Resort on June 25
Resort managers are determined to stamp out mosquitoes this year

Once again, the residents’ association on the Mar Menor Golf Resort is advising local residents that animal pest control company Anticimex will be praying for mosquitoes to try and stop the spread of these pests in the run-up to summer.
After the most recent spraying on June 11, the next bout of fumigation on all the phases of the resort will be on Tuesday June 25.
As usual, the spraying will take place at night, between the hours of 12.30am and 6am in an attempt to cause the minimum disruption possible to residents.
The product to be used for the fumigation may cause irritation to the eyes and skin, so the residents’ association has asked, “for your security and so that the work may be performed properly”, that people avoid walking or being outside during the fumigation and to keep doors and windows shut while the fumigation is taking place. You should also take precautions while driving, they say.
They conclude, “For any incident that may occur during the treatment or for any information, please call one of the following numbers: Anticimex on 666 548 916 [or the] National Institute of Toxicology on 915 620 420.”
