Murcia escapes the rain in Spain again: Weekend weather forecast February 22-25
The Region will be spared the downpours that are forecast for much of mainland Spain over the next few days

Murcia weather forecast, Saturday February 24
Most of Spain is bracing itself for heavy rains this weekend, especially on Sunday February 25, but Murcia will – for better or for worse – miss out on most of that, with just some showers forecast for next Monday.
However, while it will stay mostly bright and sunny in Murcia this weekend, the evening of this Thursday 22 and the start of the day on Friday 23 will be particularly windy. The far northwest of the Region, around Bullas and Caravaca de la Cruz, will even be on yellow alert for winds that could reach up to 70kmh.

Murcia weather warning, Friday February 23
Still, most of Murcia will not feel the effects of the rain and thunderstorms just over the border in Andalucía and Castilla-La Mancha, although there is some rain forecast in the northwest on Saturday 24. Elsewhere, the winds will die down and it will be a sunny day with cloudy spells, and a bit chillier than it has been recently.
On Sunday 25, it will be much more overcast with dark clouds hanging over the Region, but the probability of rainfall is still quite low and temperatures are actually expected to bounce back up again.

Murcia weather forecast, Sunday February 25
Going into next week, it will be a bit of a mixed bag as Monday morning brings some light rain showers, barely a drop in the ocean when it comes to refilling the aquifers as the Region so desperately needs, while a sunnier Tuesday brings another sudden drop in temperature.
