December 1 Momo, children’s theatre at the seafront auditorium in Aguilas
Award-winning drama for all the family at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas
The award-winning novel Momo, also known as The Grey Gentlemen or The Men in Grey, was published by Michael Ende in 1973 and deals with the concept of time.
In a ruined amphitheatre outside an unnamed city lives a strange little girl called Momo, who cannot read, write or count but has the extraordinary ability to listen to people and help them find solutions to their problems. This adaptation is brought to Lorca by director Beatriz Maciá and dramatist José Bote, and the leading actors have won numerous awards for their performances.
The performance at the Auditorio Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas on December 1 begins at 17.30. Tickets are available online here for 10 euros, or alternatively at the local archaeological museum, the Casa de la Cultura and at the box office of the auditorium from 1 hour before the curtain rises.
If visiting Águilas your first port of call should be the local tourist office (click here for map, telephone 968 493285, email turismo@aguilas.es).
