May 18 Free guided tour of the Torre de los Caballos and the Miracle of Bolnuevo in Mazarron
Discover the legend behind the miracle which saved Mazarrón from Berber pirates!
The series of guided tours and visits in Mazarrón during the spring of 2024 continues on May 18 with a route which takes in the most important locations in Bolnuevo, including the 16th-century watchtower of Torre de los Caballos and the legend of the “Miracle of Bolnuevo” and the Virgen de la Purísima Concepción, the patron of Mazarrón.
The tour begins at 11.00 and lasts approximately one hour. Participants will need to make their own way to Bolnuevo, where the route begins and ends, and are advised to bring drinking water and wear appropriate footwear. Dogs are not permitted.
