Sun, showers and thunderstorms: Alicante weather forecast May 4-7
The unsettled weather continues into the week with overcast skies, showers and even some thunderstorms on the way

After a humid and unsettled weekend across the province of Alicante finished with a sunny and pleasant Sunday afternoon, many had high hopes that this weather would continue into Monday. But it looks like the cloud and showers are here to stay.
Monday May 4
Expect plenty of cloud, scattered showers and even the chance of some thunderstorms throughout the day. Temperatures will stay pretty mild, and they may even rise a little.
The wind will be light from east to south but it may pick up in some coastal areas.
Tuesday May 5
Tuesday will be pretty cloudy again but there will be plenty of sunny spells. There will be some showers throughout the day and it may feel a little cooler at times.
The winds will be light and variable and again they may pick up a little along the coast.
Wednesday May 6
Wednesday will be much the same, some cloudy and sunny spells but with the chance of some light showers. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly.
Again, the winds will be light, coming mainly from the west and then turning easterly around lunchtime.
Thursday May 7
Thursday looks to be the best day of the week with mostly clear skies. Temperatures will creep back up and the winds will be light and variable.
So another changeable week is on the way in Alicante. Keep an umbrella handy if you are out and about and enjoy what is probably the last of the 'bad' weather before the summer arrives.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante:

- Monday May 4: Min 12ºC, Max 27ºC
- Tuesday May 5: Min 11ºC, Max 27ºC
- Wednesday May 6: Min 10ºC, Max 24ºC
- Thursday May 7: Min 13ºC, Max 24ºC
