Zenia Boulevard Centro Comercial: What to do at La Zenia shopping centre in Orihuela Costa, Alicante
Discover Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping and leisure complex in Alicante province
Situated in the heart of the Orihuela Costa, Zenia Boulevard is much more than just a shopping centre. Laid out like a miniature city complete will street signs, paved squares and fountains, Alicante’s largest open-air commercial centre is home to more than 150 stores, dozens of rooftop bars and restaurants with stunning views and a complete leisure and entertainment complex.
The picturesque centre is dotted with plants and trees of more than 90 different species and plenty of rest areas, and even has a free park and play area for those looking for a break from the shops. The central plaza has a giant LED screen surrounded by comfy chairs where sports fans can watch all the latest games, as well as a stage where free concerts and performances are held every week.
For a fun alternative to the beach, which is only a 15-minute walk away, the Boulevard also boasts a full bowling alley complete with arcade games and if you fancy a flutter, the exciting Casino del Mediterráneo is not to be missed.
How to get there
The Centro Comercial Zenia Boulevard is located in La Zenia, Orihuela Costa and has direct access to the AP-7 motorway and the N-332 road that connects Alicante and Murcia.
If you are travelling from Elche or Alicante, take the A-7 towards Murcia and then the AP-7 towards Torrevieja/Cartagena. Take exit 763 (Zenia Urbanizaciones).
From the Cartagena direction, follow the A-7 towards Alicante and again take exit 763. If you are driving from Murcia, take the A-7 to the AP-7 towards Torrevieja/Cartagena. Alternatively, you can go towards San Javier and there take the AP-7 towards San Pedro/Alicante and continue until exit 763.
If you are driving from Torrevieja, Santa Pola, Guardamar, Alicante, etc. take the exit for the Orihuela Costa Town Hall, since it is more direct. If you are coming from Cartagena, Los Alcázares, San Javier, San Pedro, Orihuela Costa, etc. by the N-332 you must take the exit towards Carretera de Villamartín, exit AP-7 San Miguel de Salinas.
Top tip: You can avoid the toll coming from Murcia/Cartagena towards Torrevieja if you take the Campoamor exit on the AP-7 and from there take the N-332. In the case of the toll coming from Almoradí towards Cartagena you can avoid it by taking the Carretera de Crevillente de Torrevieja and taking the N-332 once you arrive in Torrevieja.
